Due to osteoporosis caused by impaired calcium absorption I developed chronic neuritis in the lumbar region. Medication, physiotherapy, waistband did not help. The problem grew bigger over time. I also developed reflux as a side effect of my medications. Even caries appeared in my teeth.

I turned to Dr. Lan several years ago with a very strong allergic symptom because neither dermatologists nor ophthalmologists had been able to help. My eyelids would become inflammed regularly, which was followed by peeling, swelling and sagging. We suspected it was caused by some chemical but I couldn’t identify what it was though I was trying to cut down on as many as possible. Physicians prescribed very strong steroid eye drops and eye ointments, which took effect for a while but later became completely ineffective.
