Modern acupuncture is not painful at all. I deliver the bio-thread to the acupuncture point with a hair-thin needle. There is no needle left in the body, only the bio-thread remains and constantly stimulates the body. The place of the puncture is not visible at all. The treatment does not need to be repeated very often, only once a month.
As no drug or foreign substance enters the body the treatment does not affect medications and does not influence the results of medical examinations such as X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI. Modern acupuncture has no side-effects at all because it stimulates the body’s own self-healing power.
One treatment is usually 30 minutes. Before the treatment you can have some light meal, and after the session you can drive. However, hard physical work or intensive exercise is inadvisable for a couple of days after the treatment in order to let the body act upon the stimulation it received.
It depends on the underlying condition but after 3 occasions there is always significant improvement. In the case of acute pain, at an early stage even the first treatment can be very effective right away.
Yes, it is already visible during the treatment – for example if we compare it with the untreated side of the face. However, the effect becomes the most visible 1-3 months after the treatment because that is when the collagen thread transforms into the body’s own subcutan collagen. By then you might end up looking even 5-10 years younger!
